We propose reorganizing the interior and focussing, not on selling subsidized grazing, logging and mining permits, but on removing abandoned barbed wire (600,000 miles of it) opening migration corridors and building thousands of wildlife overpasses and miles of wildlife safe guide fencing.

In our plan we reallocate and eventually eliminate subsidies today doing the most harm, and rewild the west. Creating a healthy vibrant balanced ecosystem and a new publicly owned renewable energy infrastructure that we estimate, generates about $500 billion annually.

That’s a lot of barbed wire. I’m surprised so much has been abandoned and I do come across wildlife and livestock that gets caught in it.

Do you know is there’s a meaningful change in the data sides you put up? Several are from 3+ years ago and I know in Texas at least renewables are viewed and supported differently now compared to in 2020

Oh I'm sure there's lots of change in the last few years, the data tends not to be compiled for a while tho and we're so busy over here it's hard to find time to chase it all down.
