We give up our privacy willingly with every piece of tech we blindly agree to the t.o.s to use. The Fed can and does get that data using remnants of policies enacted by the PATRIOT ACT that neither side votes to get rid of because it helps "secure our nation". And it's used in other countries.

The rub is, that it's not a level playing field. Pay those BYD auto workers a comparable wage to North American auto workers and the economic advantage towards BYD disappears. It's 1-2 steps away from being an actual Gov't organization.

BYD would crush Tesla within a year or two if they could be sold in the USA. It is already happening globally. Tesla's Q1 earnings report is going to point a very bleak picture for the company.
