I've heard of it several times by now, and I still haven't bitten the bullet, but every no is a step closer to a yes, as salespeople learn.

I like the way the site is organized, and I like the way they do paywalls, letting me read several complete paragraphs.

My first thought was "how many new subs would it take to hire one of these amazing journalists?". Because THAT would be the coolest thing ever. Although getting even most of them would take a sub drive to put PBS to shame

to hire another full time journalist at our current sub-living wage would take....400 monthly subscribers or 480 annual subscribers.
