Yes. Staffers don't deserve any abuse. They're there to take down messages and requests, make reports, and pass them along.

A loud protest outside is fine. An urgent meeting is fine.

We're so used to having our morale attacked — because that's one of the points of states and hierarchies — that it can be easy to forget that those in power are quite vulnerable on this front too. All the more because the gentry are extraordinarily fragile creatures.

Exactly. I have personally seen an authority figure *crack* just from us playing guitar and singing at the building he's in. They hate this stuff so much and try every trick to make it illegal because it is effective.
