Sure, go for Soto who is a great hitter, but cannot field. You pay all this money when instead you could get 2 Starting pitcher and other players that would bring you closer to a World Series. Than just one hitter would.

I like the guy, but Cora want better defense and that has been one of the Sox biggest issues the past 3 years. But, the use of money could be better spent on pitching and that would make the Sox a better team. That is just my opinion and since it is not my money.........
