And not to sound like a broken record reposting myself but Ozempic is literally just the start. The best stuff is coming in 2 years that'll basically do the work of multiple drugs in a once weekly shot

You’re probably right. I think once the first drug gets approved, it’ll be easier for everything else in the same drug class and all related medications to come.

Since you're Cardiology I impatiently wait for phase 3 data on retatrutide for lipids. 24% reduction in ApoB, 40% reduction in TRL-C, 27% reduction in non-HDL-C with no plateau to the reduction in those markers over 48 weeks in Ph2. Can only imagine what that might do for ASCVD reduction

To be clear, Wegovy is the weight-loss variation with different dosing and instructions. Ozempic is being used off-label for weight loss mainly because of insurance issues. I'm on Ozempic for diabetes and it's a miracle drug for me. Without it, I would be doing daily shots of insulin by now.
