A new one on the scene is the Investigative Journalism Foundation.
I think their work is going to be increasingly important as we lose investigative journalists at some of our traditional sources.

And finally, a special mention to the CBC. I often criticize their content (especially Alberta's pro-Fossil Fuel leanings) but I absolutely think their existence is essential to the Canadian landscape.
You already support them financially through your taxes, now support them electorally.

Any politician who says a main policy platform is to decrease our primary journalism has lost the plot, if you ask me. We need to protect this institution, for it plays an essential role in our Canadian identity, society and democracy.

I'm going to rectify that right now.

The Conservatives have no respect for history. During the Harper years they destroyed the historical statistical documents used to calculate and predict the long term needs of Canadians. What would they do with the vast historical program and news records of the CBC?🤔
