Education is the enemy of authoritarianism, especially fascism, because it teaches people critical thinking, evidence evaluation, considering other points of view - and inconvenient history.

It's one of the first institutions that fascists seek to bring under their thumb.

They’re trying to dismantle the US system of governance and destroy its economy. In order to enslave a people you must first make them extremely dependent on you. Gutting America and robbing her of her assets, closing the borders, and creating death camps are just the first steps.

It already started by cutting elderly and handicapped pensions and healthcare. Everyone who is not a white, USA born, 25 to 70 healthy and rich male is a target.

This regime is not interested in doing anything to make the US better. Their goal is to take it apart & diminish it on every front, to make the people as weak as possible. Uneducated people are much more likely to have a lot of babies, be religious, be racist, and to not question authority.
