we got one of our cats, Goliath, a couple years ago now because we reasoned that he'd have a harder time getting adopted out at the shelter (he'll be 11 this year and lived on the streets for much of it), but we've been so charmed and impressed by his enthusiasm and joie de vivre. He's a good cat.
