I think there are a lot of second amendment folk that will come to their senses. There is still a deep current of freedom and democracy that will be very difficult to quash. Apathy in the face of tyranny is the biggest enemy. Red state financial ruin and suffering will disrupt that apathy.
Elected dems are also showing an alarming amount of apathy, if we want out of this shit it won't be done peacefully and it won't be done without loss of life.
There hasn't been a single time where a tyrant was "voted" out, and no the 2020 election doesn't count, Trump had yet to go full tyrant.
Yes. There is way too much apathy on all sides. It’s been going on forever. Not an exact quote, but Plato “The price of apathy towards public affairs is to be ruled by evil men.” Thomas Jefferson’s view was like “When tyranny becomes law, rebellion becomes duty.” Not sure if we are there yet.
