I don't know a poetic word for the emotion but trauma survivors of narcissistic abuse, (previous & current) have experience living in this emotional state, perpetually. It feels like someone pushing your head under water over & over, barely allowing you to catch a breath in between.
There should be a word for the specific fury one feels toward a person who heedlessly and recklessly takes away the space one needs for grief. Our language is not that subtle—to capture the emotion would require narrative or poetry. But the term should exist in this moment of national catastrophe.
