"eliminating civil rights reforms" is much better phrasing than "removing DEI"

"DEI" was hijacked from academia and half-assed corporate inclusivity efforts to frame civil rights reforms as elitist and wasteful. adopting their framing and rhetoric helps pretend bigotry is efficient.
