Lee’s thread was quickly amplified by Elon Musk, who Donald Trump has put in charge of slashing our earned benefits.

This is a declaration of war against seniors, people with disabilities, and the American public.

I always love reading how people who have never had to financially struggle, likely will never struggle, nor will their children, are all for removing the safety nets for those of us who struggle daily, who occasionally get the insufficient funds alert, or have to prioritize some bills over others

But, but T said he wouldn’t mess with our hard earned benefits and maga trusted his word. The last laugh is on them, and unfortunately on us. Keep us advised, and pick your brain for things we can do to protect our benefits, and halt this madness. Where and how do we protest this, if need arises?

I’m on SSI and this is terrifying. They truly are hellbent on destroying all that is good and letting diseases run rampant in our country, killing the most vulnerable - children, elderly and those with pre-existing conditions. I hope some house and senate Repubs grow a pair and help us fight this!
