Put it back on PBS. Sesame Street not being on public television anymore was an abomination to begin with.

Our society moving backwards on this too is such a travesty
"Sesame Street had been on HBO since 2016 (episodes also air on PBS a few months after they run on HBO, allowing for maximum reach and accessibility, as alluded to by the Sesame spokesperson)...."
I guess I just don’t like kids without access to streaming having to wait at all. It’s not really a “PBS show” if it’s being licensed out on delay https://time.com/3996575/hbo-sesame-street/
I wish public media had the power and funding to *produce* this programming like it used to…not just be given hand-me-downs to air way after more privileged kids can see it.
The goal of the WBD deal was an additional income of funding so they can work on additional programming and resources.

I always thought this was a dumbass deal for WBD. Basically they donated a ton of money to CTW for the rights for back library and secondary streaming.
MAX was providing most of the funding for production.
Now it likely is dead if they can't find another provider. Trump is going to kill PBS.
