Carel Fabritius, born on this day in 1622, studied w/ Rembrandt in the 1640s & picked up a lot of ideas. His Raising of Lazarus, 1643, is full of them!

Do you have any Christopher Paudiß images? Some of his paintings had this silver blue thing going on that I haven't been able to get out of my head, but I only have my crappy cell phone images and my copies.
today we have lights everywhere - everything is, in fact, way too bright and we destory beauty with light pollution but then everything was dark and shadows
