The question is, will people still stick with this site after a week? I think the mindset of this being an exodus is a bit much and more so should be treated as an expanded fallback in case Twitter does become unusable. The reach here is just very flat at times. - ThreadSky

The sites only big thing right now, is its not 'Twitter' but at the same time is half bake features as Twitter has, and yes while they are improving its a slow crawl. Video support took nearly a year and the quality of them are super rough.

I'm using a script later in the week to try to move any other follows that don't have bluesky to like pixiv or something

Honestly it's just not something that will happen overnight, is a tense thing due to the nature of artists needing to be where the people are

I want to like this place more but after seeing people time and time again come back and still use Twitter is a tad draining, The only real way to make people sit here fully is a brazil level lockdown or tumblr level ban.

Hell even people still in Brazil used a VPN not caring about the fine.

I don't know if I can totally move over to this site but the fact that many of my favourite artists and writers are moving with it is a big motivation to join in. Better now than later.

Ot is unusable, it'll use your media, texts, and everything, to train it's ai and you consent by using the app, is in the new ToS, and you can't opt that out

Seeing how Elon is a complete tool who will *absolutely* double down on sinking Twitter for the sake of his bruised ego, it's only a matter of time before more people make the jump here.

It's not ideal, but it's the best we've got until we can shove Elon into a canon and fire him into the ocean.
