I really appreciate what you are doing. Your work helps me inform many of the researchers (higher ed) I support. If only I could get administration to give a damn about them.

PS — I’m not a scientist, but don’t underestimate how much those of us who supported the mission in administrative positions love the NIH. It’s such a special place and my heart is breaking over all of this.

It’s very much appreciated. I have tried to respect that my friends who are still at the NIH are in a very difficult situation and so I’ve not been asking them for information, as I only have gov email mostly. Everybody is very paranoid. So the information you’re providing is really a lifeline.
