when i was really young i was a horrendously picky eater, and this was the only thing my mom could get me to eat for breakfast.
i missed the flavor for much of my life until i discovered pumpkin muffins taste very similar to what i remember.

Hostess Oat Bran Muffins (1990-circa 1997): In an effort to offer a packaged baked good that at least *seemed* healthier, Hostess released these muffins made with oat bran flour, touted for their convenience and moistness. Also available in banana nut.
