As Chyler said "we didn't get to see enough of her as Guardian", and I totally agree. 8 episodes wasn't enough. Army trained. So many fights she should have been a part of to show her full potential but wasn't, sigh I will never understand it.

Nope we certainly didn't see enough of her. Season 5 was absolutely appalling for screen time for Kelly and Dansen. After Crisis we barely saw her. Still salty about it.
The small moments they did have in S5 were so cute, just imagine the bigger impact if they were longer.Kelly the only regular cast missing so much throughout that season, SMH. Chy and Azie worked so hard to make their scenes meaningful.I don't want to play the race card, but side eyeing the network😒
Agreed. We were so angered we did a lot of comparisons & in S5 Kelly and Alex with no-one else on screen & 1 on 1, had just under 10 minutes, through the course of a 19 episode season. 🤬
In S4, 1 on 1 screen time over a mere 6 episodes in S4 gave them over 20 minutes.
1/2 No explanations they can give that can justify that, it's just plain wrong. Nicole's new book touched on some of this, I love her honesty in what she said. That's why season 5, I only watched the Dansen scenes💁🏽♀️😊 nothing else interest me. I skip right over to S6, they had all the screentime.
Crisis really fucked Dansen over. But it fucked a lot of others too. Alex & Kara scenes were terrible (can't recall that number but it was low).
So many threads were written at the time here & by others. Absolutely agree, racism did play a part as did homophobia. Of that, we have no doubt.
2/2 Yes the important dynamics were missing. Danvers sisters couch moments. Dreamer and Dansen. Game nights. I just wished they would have finished the purple robe scene, and showed them on the motorcycle together at some point.
