I mean this 'rejoicing' has been going on for centuries, like this is far, far from the first incident of people reacting this way. The French revolution, the witch hunts, anytime someone has been sentenced to death and for centuries people have been paying money to see public executions.

I’ll probably be hated for this, but I think that’s the point they are making.

They aren’t (at least in those statements) ignoring that aspect, it’s speaking to social decline in general, as it references the distrust in institutions & government too.

It’s a fairly neutral take, and broad warning.

Exactly! So much coverage from all sides has focused on the person and not the reason, even on social media people focusing on political alignment or his looks have all just watered down and obfuscated the important question of WHY someone, irrelevant who, deemed this course of action necessary.

It's both. One is a problem they can get on board with solving. They will use naratives to take the focus off of the problem of healthcare denying lifesaving treatments and onto the people willing to do anything to get people to pay attention to the problem that they could actually change.
