i’m actually pretty bad about wearing a mask as often as i should, yet i’m typically seen as the responsible one of any particular group because i occasionally have one. and that’s not me patting myself on the back, y’all should make me look bad and you’re not and that sucks.

I prefer N95s with headstraps both because they are more comfortable (no ear irritation) and they offer better protection.

I like 3M Aura 95s for combo of comfort, durability, & cost. I bought a 440ct case for like $80.

Most comfy are ACI N95s which are a duckbill style with softer head straps. They don't feel as durable to me but are great for sensory needs / comfort.

Velcro sells straps so you can have the ear loops go around the back of your head. Very comfy, and they make the mask fit much better as well.

If you are mentioning ear irritation, you are most likely not talking about N95 k (must be headlooped) but about KN95 or KF94 (Korean Standard). If your only concern is ear irritation, then almost any N95 will do. They also usually (but not always) seal better.

Yup, this. KN95 have ear loops, N95 have head straps. Head straps provide a better seal (= more protection).
