Itβs the #1 reason Iβm fine with running digital games. Playing in person is superior, but playing online means we play regularly, and thatβs the big win.
Strong agree: I only play online at the moment. I know I'd miss about half the sessions if I had to travel and be among humanity. One of my games is with people on the other side of the world, and I can't afford to fly there once a week, nor can I shout loud enough for them to hear.
Everyone at my table is in a different state at the moment, so in-person is just impractical.
But even when other tables are in the same city area, work schedules, travel times, childcare, etc just make it a lot easier if we skip all the extra issues and log in together.
I have asked like 4 people if they're down to be a player! Like i'll dm and roll everything for you I just need you to show up... AND NO ONE WANTS TOO.
