Wow - thinking big-picture, this is a HUGE shift. Has it ever before in history been possible for a younger generation to interact with as many people from prior generations as it is now?

Of course, there are regional differences, as we can see in the graph, as well as social differences within each region, but the overall progress is undeniable. The explanation is not very sophisticated: free vaccines and public health systems.
