I think if you follow a day month year format that is Feb 4 which seems like a much more realistic announcement date and falls within the last financial quarter like they stated last year.

I see, that is a good point honestly. Do you think they’ll ever make a console that is completely different from the Switch? I suppose there is no need to change something that works already though, they should totally capitalise on their success and just keep improving the concept 😲

On the one hand, nothing lasts forever. Very popular Game Boy line died in favor of the DS line, which then died in favor of Switch. But Switch is kind of a jack-of-all-trades, and if the mouse functionality is true they're giving it more trades. I wonder just how wide they can go with the concept.

It's possible it's a good tight fit, and then it locks in place when you snap it on, and maybe you hold a button on the joycon that unlocks it when you pull it off. Does that make sense? I think that could be it

I'm sure it wouldn't be less safe than the regular switch, especially with them working with devs and quality assurance and stuff. I'd be surprised if it's that bad, yet again Nintendo denied joycon drift sooooo lol
