It’s funny to look at pieces I made just a couple years ago when I was in the transition phase from lineless art to bringing in more linework. This was one of those in-between pieces. I was so hesitant to do full linework for so long cause it just didn’t look “finished” to me at the time. Wild!
I’ve always loved the looked of lineless work but drawing lineart is my favourite part of drawing. I’m glad I was able to find a way to make it work for me but man oh man was it a journey 😅
Weird as it may sound, it’s actually heart warming hearing someone feel this way around about it. I usually hear how people can’t be bothered with line art, dislike doing it etc and even kind of disregard it. So reading this was nice 💕
Whoa it’s wild to me to imagine people wouldn’t enjoy lineart, i just really love drawing and it kinda just feeds into that. Always love seeing work like yours that handles it so beautifully!
Thank you, love and likewise to you! It’s why I’ve also started sharing more b/w stuff because I am trying to undo the «social rule» that drawings are only worth attention if it’s colored. As if lines aren’t impressive enough on their own 🥲🥲🥲
