Calling someone gay as an insult simply because they use it as an insult, supports the idea that it is an insult. And, it distracts from the much uglier (and equally triggering) real issues. If I had any proof that Johnson was gay, I’d share it; with 100% focus on the vicious hypocrisy as the shame.

But, and this is one place we fail badly: Fighting with everything one has is not in any way the same as fighting dirty. Calling a dirty truth what it is, is not “low”. But calling those guilty of dirty lies and actions, by the same words they hypocritically throw at others, is both dirty and weak.
