this time is different than tumblr--by the time i moved from tumblr, twitter had already become my main website by quite a bit. this really does feel like starting over in a way where ill never get back to where i was

yeah i’m honestly gutted. i was so proud of my twitter and the following i was building there was my only hope of ever escaping my shitty day job. i like bluesky but I’m doubtful that it will ever come close to what twitter was at its peak

I know it seems pretty bleak, but as someone who just discovered your stuff for the first time, today, on here - I think it'll work out for the best.

Getting in ahead of a lot of bigger accounts that haven't made the leap yet will probably pay dividends in the long run, too.
