Some of that hesitation I’d be willing to bet is placed on fear of the unknown, misinformation, or outlets over emphasizing ‘what could go wrong’.
I’m curious how they are tackling the cheating? I’ve seen a professor openly embrace it - but set largely higher benchmarks for success/passing criteria.
my guess is that the burden will fall upon the instructor to use the tech to elevate the quality of their presentation and that will be the bar set
AI cannot even tell if it’s AI so again the burden will fall upon the instructor to try and sleuth out that distinction
