I'm 80 yrs old. Don't have much 💰 except my Soc Sec. Medicare is the only way I get health care. I have to use an advantage plan becuz I can't afford anything else. I am 67. During the last 18 years, my medical expenses have exceeded $1.5 million. I have a couple of more surgeries in my future that will probably run about $300K. Without Medicare and Social Security I'd be dead.

Yep. My life was going great until I was 48 - I was an EVP at a large national company, had a great family, traveling all over... and then BOOM, a very rare and extremely painful neurological disorder. This was followed by another neurological problem, that is also very painful. Who knew? 🤷‍♂️
