To be honest it hits way harder with the nudity than it ever could with clothing. There’s a sense of ‘purity’ to it and the ‘casual vulnerability’ actually translates to ‘fear of nothing’ in the context of the writhing snakes and mysterious hidden eyes. It suggests danger for the viewer. FAFO.
