thanks for showing other top scars. when my surgeon said because of the mass of my chest i'd have a horizontal one, i was really surprised. i did a lot of research too and the different shapes just didn't come up.

My orcs remove many overt gender markings as a right of passage into the warrior caste -- since they traditionally remove these themselves the scars tend to be ( / / ) or ( \ \ ) depending on which arm is dominant :3

After having to go through breast cancer myself and having a double mastectomy, I LOVE top surgery art & tattoos! ❤️ An absolute plus that this is worldbuilding stuff. ❤️❤️
If my chest wasn't so sensitive, I'd get some fancy tattoos around my scars.

That's cool that you can enjoy it that way! I'm not much of a tattoo person, but some people do really creative things with their art... I've also heard it hurts a lot X_X

As a side note, I'd love to see more characters with mastectomies for medical reasons 🤔 It's quite an old treatment after all~~

The autopsy scar has me imagining a necromancer being like "Yeah, the healing magic we use post recovery regenerates lost tissue, so I invented this way to trick it by TECHNICALLY killing while we do the procedure, but keeping your soul tethered and your systems in stasis. It's weird but it works."

I played a doctor who was also a necromancer in Mage the Awakening for a while. He came up with ideas for necromantic protheses and all sorts of medical solutions to magical problems that weren't just "cast a healing spell".

This is so awesome.. I was thinking in one of my more fantasy esque worlds, a lot of surgeries are done with magic-based tools instead of blades so the scars tend to have little spiky bits coming out from them, so I was JUST thinking what it'd be like for top surgery or cosmetic surgery.

I had a thought about magical surgery where the surgeon is a mage drawing magical glyphs and incision lines on their patients to guide the spell, and those leave a permanent mark like a tattoo or something.
