this is bound to happen. Bluesky is functioning as safe space right now—predators need prey. Of course they’re gonna try to infiltrate. It’s what they do. We just have to be sure to block / report— keep the house clean!
Eeek. What could be seen as offensive about being involved in something as lovely as writing about Clara Schumann and singing? I guess the post was just a random 'let's spread nastiness in the world'. We don't need that - keep on what you're doing :-)
I thought this when I started 4yrs ago. Until I realized a lot of idealization of certain canon composers rests on the belittling of Clara—she’s been cast as the antagonist in many narratives. The mocking hatred of “St. Clara” gets really sickening.
