But even in Miss America contests, the eliminations of the 50 go pretty quickly with each round, first by general appearances and previous unseen interviews by judges who were out 30-40. Then Q & A’s get to brass tacks.
We need a 3 month election cycle, not 2-4 years
We forget an entire world of potential people way more qualified, and start to look at only these 2. And from there we start to look which 1 is the BEST of only THESE 2. We compare and compare, untill we find 1 that looks better then the other, while both s..ck!

I am glad, however, we did not have to watch the current administration in the talent or swimsuit portion of that type of contest!
Maybe just start holding congress accountable?
