The FS-LIDS sets include a Direction Finding (DF) (for detecting drones) system that also includes an EW defeat system and an Electro Optical/Infrared turret for detection ans tracking. The fixed sites also have a Ku-band Radio Frequency Sensor (Ku-RFS) used for detecting Group 1-3 drones at 15 km

20x Modi systems
10x Bal Chatri systems
10x Smart Shooters

(These are handheld or dismounted systems)

All these systems together are grouped into a "Division Set" and are meant for a single Division. The Army wants to buy equipment for 9 divisions.

Moreover, the Army is buying M-SHORAD systems, which is a Stryker with radars and 8x Stinger missiles (they initially had 4 Stingers and 2nHellfires). The Army is buying 144 of these vehicles for 9 battalions, and each battalion will go to one division.

The Army also plans to field 9 Indirect Fires Protection Capability (IFPC) battalions. Each IFPC battalion will have 3x batteries, and each battery will be equipped with 3x Enduring Shield launchers that can hold 18 missiles each. The battalions will also have a C-UAS battery.

Why do they use Coyotes? Why not Stingers or APKWS?

APKWS is being looked at right now, I just left it out. They use Stinger on the Marine version of LIDS as well as M-SHORAD. Coyotes are used because they cost $100k per system (set to decrease) and have a 15 km range and an active radar seeker. A great combination of capabilities.
