Other countries should start talking about boycotting the 28 Olympics and pushing to ban the US from upcoming games. Just saying.

Nothing's shitter than having the Olympics in your city. Enormous amounts of desperately needed public funds used to build a bunch of stadiums that then get left to crumble, apocalypse-level traffic, claims of boosting the economy that never materialize. And there's always embezzlement. Always.

"Boosting the economy" usually just means airdropping a few hundred thousand to local business and politicians that vanishes immediately. It doesn't even affect the economy.
