Seriously, though, does anyone here know why this happens? The other day I was so hungry I was feeling shaky so I ate a delicious ripe persimmon and immediately brought it back up again. Why?
I was told once that it might be that hunger signals the stomach to start preparing more acid to digest the food it is anticipating. When there is no food, the acid has other unhelpful effects (eg nausea)
It's about low blood sugar most likely. And it causes nausea because the brain alarms about low glucose levels plus adrenaline level increase to have a last energy boost before you fall.
I don't understand why we get so many low blood sugar issues.
How much sugar would we have been consuming 20,000 years ago hunting wildebeest?
I ate half a carrot cake yesterday. Why can't my body just keep hold of that for a week or two?

(Also cup of fruit juice will give you the strength to cook)

Sometimes I'm amazed humans didn't die off thousands of years ago.
