Oh man. I love Richard Kadrey, Cassandra Khaw, Nat Cassidy, Clay McLeod Chapman, Jeff Strand, V. Castro, Scott Cole, Philip Fracassi, Brian Keene, Premee Mohamed's Beneath the Rising trilogy, Silvia Moreno-Garcia, Daniel Kraus, Keith Rosson, Ali Seay, Zoje Stage, Paul Tremblay...
See... I only know a few of the authors you mentioned. It's the day before Thanksgiving and the firm is dead - crime seems to stop around the holidays, which is fine with me.
I LOVE a good creature book. Back in the summer, I asked for creature in the woods books - I go camping alone - no one is around to tell me scary stories, so I bring my own.
I plowed through all those, but I'm ALWAYS open to more creature books.
Negative Space by B. R. Yeager. The world he created in the book doesn’t seem constrained by the page and he builds mood through a series of images, sensations, and sensory cues that layer themselves on your skin and suffocate you. Absolute walloping banger.

Anyway, I've got research to do thanks to you. 🥰

Assuming you’ve already devoured Stephen Blackmoore, with Kadrey already on your list.
