I think a real point about Dolly is that if she hadn't been such a philanthropist, she'd be a billionaire now... and a billionaire off of actual skill/talent, instead of exploiting other people's talent.

She is not a billionaire. Worth about half a billion. If she didn’t give so much away, she probably could be but there is not such thing as an ethical billionaire. To acquire that much, you must abandon your humanity.
