and I understand that having to work and not having the free time/money to do things you enjoy can be suffocating and isolating, but it's not like I'm not used to feeling that way

people talk about how hard it is being an adult versus being a kid, but I'd trade "having no responsibilities" for the freedom to say/do what I want any day
