It was definitely magical when I first wrote code in the late 1970s… Then I realized that I would be spending a LOT of time fixing errors in my spells and incantations 😃
I mean, it was *kind of* magical to teenage me. I typed some stuff, and the computer did it! For someone with very little control in his life it was super empowering. But no wands and dragons tho
