Karateka was one of the first "beat-em-up" games, with a simple near-far high-lo combat system. You also punched birds.

This game was all timing and had an incredible vibe with tense silence, cinematic transitions, and brutal action. Frustrating as hell but forever etched in my memory.

The game had an Easter egg - if you flipped the disk, you got the game video reversed both horizontally and vertically.

Classic Apple II floppy disc game. Also was an avid fan of Wavy Navy, Pic-a-dilly Pair, Moon Patrol, and Shifty Sam. The 80's nostalgia is real.
