Reminder: babies under 1 yr and immunocompromised people can't get and/or don't have effective vaccine response. They can't get/don't benefit from the vaccine, thru no fault of their own.
You should get MMR vaccine regardless, but if you need a reason IN ADDITION to your own safety.
