A lot of MAGA folks aren’t going to be happy if the GOP succeeds.

FOX: “Nothing is sacrosanct. Everything is on the table, and that includes (cutting) Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security…”
As we have warned about over and over — And as they cut those programs, they will cut taxes for the rich (again). they don’t care about the debt.

Create the problem.
Then replace with worse versions.
Then blame everything on democrats.
Americans are low quality to fall for this all the time.
Who knows - in a few decades, the leaders of the MAGAt cult might demand human sacrifices which the followers gladly give.
We could think about it’s less than 2 yrs to midterms & how to blunt this by taking a few seats in House & Senate. Nope & they wonder why Dems have issues with voters.
We’re in our 70s; sm pensions & SS. 1 son gets SS disability & Medicare.
The "hate crowd" is probably about 50-60% of the Republican base.
The base always votes.
That's how they got their name.
It's the undecideds and the people who don't know what a tariff is, etc. that are in for a rude awakening. When things go south it's imperative they know the who and why
Oh well, Blue States will be getting a lot of money back. Red states not so much.
No ethics, no care, no truth,
Four years steeped in loss.
I wonder if they realize that ss their money? But, bless their hearts giving it to those who are so much more fortunate...🙏
Take your hands off our social security
A lot of younger folks have been told for so long SS won’t be there for them, they don’t care. I told my smart ass son to get a room ready for us.
I'm kinda angry that @stephenking.bsky.social's novels are being out-done by real-world stupidity.
As a pooltoy dragon I have 0 brain cells and the GOP is dumber than me.
I read a lot of "Lol, this is gonna suck for everybody" comments, but what if it doesn't?
Trump has the ability to make it suck less for his constituents, at the detriment of the people they don't care about. Liberals seem unprepared for that possibility.
Even their sleight of hand with social security taxes was called out. Red states can’t afford a large chunk of their economies disappearing. Neither can their politicians. Those states usually need guaranteed income more than others.
Democrats need to hammer home that if the price of eggs go up $0.10 in February, it's Trump's fault.
He was 100% correct.
Let them FO
I'm not celebrating here, but the people who did vote for this absolutely need to feel it.
Not a single Republican in Congress voted for the Inflation Reduction Act and its cap on the cost of insulin at $35 a month for people on Medicare.
We are going to see..Democrats created this.
Does this mean we can stop paying for it?? Out of our checks?
Continue to pay
According to Kipplinger
• the scheme also reduced benefits so it was at best a wash
• Then the issue of not putting those tax $ into SS & Medicare speeds up SS insolvency by a yr & Medicare by 6 yrs
UGH.

Because if they cut medicare & medicaid they haven't read the room very well.
trump doesn’t care because he wants to fill his pockets & leave BUT the GOP doesn’t want to leave with him. Neither do GOP governors & legislators whose economies would tank.
Pre-butting their moves is crucial.
However, some of us aren't going to be shocked by anything and hopefully will at least be mentally prepared for what's to come.
Others better stock up on adult diapers.

You missed the symbiotic relationship giving us the parade -
1. Dem insiders need their corporate clients.
1. Insiders are valuable to their clients cuz they influence Dem campaigns & policies.
1+1 = 2 More & more voters see both parties as corporatists. 40% identify as Independents
Still denying the of basic human necessities, food & housing are a serious problem. US Census, Sept 12, 2024: almost half of renters are ‘cost-burdened’ - spend more than 30% of their income on housing.
They get what they asked for and I will be sitting on my lawn chair eating popcorn watching the ugly show.
I can survive hard times and measles outbreaks. Can they??
