If there’s is anyone who deserves to be kidnapped off the street and shuttled to another state in an unmarked van, never to be seen by their friends or family again - and I’m not saying anyone does, just IF - it’s paparazzi.
Why do people expect access to total strangers who are famous? Susan Sarandon was at my child’s school when she filmed White Palace back in the day. I thought she was hot AF in The Rocky Horror Picture Show. I didn’t bother her. I don’t know her. What do you say? Hi I like your work? lol no.
George, I do agree with you.... When I lived in LA in the Hollywood Dell area... I knew those who worked in tv and movies and I always said hi, I never demanded a photo.... and I always felt bad when the paps were outside waiting for them... I let my dog go after them...
I'd hate for a rando to approach me demanding my time. I've seen y'all in the wild. Same as being at the zoo. Look from a safe distance. There are petting zoos for a reason...
Yes she does but every person who buts the magazines or newspapers that these photographers sell their photos to is complicit in this. They wouldn’t take the photos if there was nowhere to sell them. And celebrities are well known for setting up photoshoots with paparazzi
I agree, however, celebrities benefit from constant press and how our culture puts people who have the skills to sing or play a part, on pedestals. So it's kind of a love/hate relationship.
What personal gets to me is the price of autographs and photos at the cons, which are a fan setting.
Fans and paparazzi really need to learn to respect these artists. They give us so much joy and all we do is harass them. I’ve seen celebrities out and I have and will NEVER approach them or sneak a pic. It’s just rude!
Because like with the protests they will just pass laws to protect themselves. With the current admin it would likely say photographers within 2 miles of a politician's home will be shot on sight.
Paparazzi give photographers a bad name. The photographers I've met are paid to do a job, work with the person they are taking pictures of, while paparazzi always seem to be trying to look for a photo-op that will make them money from the press.
A while back one was pestering Wil Wheaton when he was at the beach, so he got his wife to take a bunch of photos of him and put them on Twitter so that the paparazzi’s photos were worthless
Reminds me of how Daniel Radcliff made their photos worthless when he was performing on a stage show.
Left the theatre wearing the same outfit every night, so the papperazi struggled to sell them to the press after the first night.
Fair enough a photographer giving us a picture of some war torn country to show what they are going through or a disaster etc, but these ones that chase celebrities must be the most pointless creatures on Earth. Who cares that some celebrity was scratching their arse when walking down the street
The worst thing is that if you treat paparazzi the way they treat a celebrity, they can take you to court because celebrities are "public figures" and Paparazzi are "everyday citizens". It's so messed up
I grew up in Los Angeles and my parents, who were friends with a number of celebrities, taught me that they are human beings and deserve privacy and
Respect. Imagine not being able to eat a meal in a restaurant or go to a shot without being harassed. Common courtesy!
FFS, unless it's a fan event, leave people alone FCOL. But no, self-centered, egotistical little wankers all thing the universe revolves around them. Celebs are people, so let them live their lives... Idjits...
All people do. It's always bothered me that we don't protect people better. Everyone should have express control over their privacy. What they allow to be public. It's wrong to allow stalking of individuals no matter what.
Celebrities are public in what they present as part of their work, and if they mess up. Beyond that, the bottom feeders should leave them alone. If Sabrina Carpenter had wanted the paparazzi there, I’m sure she would’ve invited them.
Celebrities don't "owe" people anything. If you don't accept that, than find someone else who's in need of constant reaffirmation to chase after. Let people live their lives.
Fans of celebs should start following these paparazzi around and jumping out to take photos of them everywhere and getting in their faces. Lets see how THEY like it.
No, they are not "Private individuals" they are members of a lesser known group of "Famous people"
Celebrities absolutely do not deserve privacy in public. It’s literally their f’cking job! Also, who gives a sh*t? There are actual problems happening, we should not be giving up a single brain cell thinking about this stupid garbage🤦🏻♂️

Shame on them.

I'm not saying that's right but it is the fact of the matter.

We fail people so much and so often. :(
Marsha Marsha Marsha!
Paparazzi are more remoras than men.
