Imagine getting fined for saying shit. Shit is a word used as much or more than even fuck. One of the first words I ever said in life was shit. Where and how did I pick that up? Shit happens! 🤓
😂🤣😂 She had to have known what they were gonna say. If she wanted them to say "worth a damn," she should have said, "Men ain't worth a..." and then pointed to the audience. But even then, I think some would have said shit. 😂
As a Brit I was expecting a far stronger word than the fairly broadcast friendly word shit! This article probably works best for shocking American sensibilities I guess 😉 Here we do have words that can’t be said, others than can be after the watershed and apparently lesser words that have quotas!
I do recall at least two specific instances where "shit" was allowed on network prime time, many years ago: the broadcast of the movie Network, and the final(?) episode of the Mark Green character on the series ER.

Also, people are still getting fined for saying Shit in 2025?
I think, the censors would die pretty soon in Europe ... and very, very painful. 🤣
