Yes but you keep an eye on your child. It's not like he's in a fenced backyard where he's not going to wander off to someplace weird. They just let a 2-year-old just run free and ran away. Scary. I hope they investigate his home life
Such a good boy! Having a Pyrenees mix this doesn’t surprise me at all they are the OG of LGDs and if they decide someone is in their flock nothing will stop them from protecting them.

Love Great Pyrenees, Great Pyrenees/Anatolian. They’re great. My big boy loved my granddaughter at first sight/sniff. My current girl is low key and wants to sniff anyone or anything she sees, including cats, and always sleeps either in the doorway or under a window at night.

I can. Mine wandered off when we were on vacation, I was watching a group of youngsters, he (3 yrs) was playing quietly in the sand and then he was gone. He has Spina Bifida and hated to walk far - so we panicked and called in emergency services. He was found an hour later 1 mile down the beach.
Have a half Pyr half Aussie. I am well shepherded and safe from all intruders, including planes and helicopters in his airspace. Here he is chasing the cat.
