Started reading today, am still worried it'll get too much cos I lived the entire robodebt saga with much grief, but it was a book that needed to be written and you were probably the best person to do so, so thanks, and already you've given info and insight that is new

Understandable. Also you actually read Catch 22 and yeah oh boy was that relevant.
I think it was such a Joseph Heller creation is what is actually needed, if it was just a blow by blow he says she said would've been a big fail. It needs the human element which they tried to actually dehumanise

To be clear I didn't get a debt notice through this scam, but my son did and paid it w/o verifying cos it was easier to avoid dealing with them, but I did get a debt of about 1k waived in the 90's, and also a out of the blue call to tell me centrelink had been underpaying me and owed me!
