It's my 3rd technically but during my 1st ARMY day, I was too focused on getting into music and content. I hadn't joined fan social media yet so I hadn't learned about ARMY day yet.
My first year was the same, I joined fan social media until almost a year and a half after becoming ARMY. I was trying to learn and explore everything calmly and on my own 💜
In retrospect I think I (and you) made the right choice. It seems like baby ARMY who jump into social media too quickly are more vulnerable to falling into solo and anti rhetoric. It was better to get to know the guys through their own words before anyone could try to twist it.
Same. You can't be manipulated if you know the guys well enough. No solo on earth can convince me that any member hates the other because I've seen too much that proves otherwise.
This conversation is interesting to me because their music found me and I knew very little about them, never had heard of ARMY, k-pop was just a word in the media.
I spent a full year and a half to two years before I found that ARMY existed and came looking for y'all.
I totally get what you mean. I knew about ARMY as like a vague entity since my sister had ARMY friends & would mention them liking BTS a lot. I found them on my own because I liked Halsey and just wanted to hear new music from her even if it's a feature. I didn't even know/care about kpop.
Happy ARMY Day, I’m here. I had no idea this place existed because I’ve been trying to avoid ARMY twitter I’ve been interacting with others because of the negative vibes and overall disrespect for BTS. This is my 4th ARMY Day too💜
My real 1st! 🥹💜 I was already in BTS world last year around this time, but it was just some reels on IG and TT. I wasn’t so informed and updated yet. So this year is everything first for me.

My time “alone with BTS” gave me perspective and, as mentioned above, no one can convince me of absolutely anything other than that BTS are 7, ++
