If ever there was a business I wanted to start after retirement, a bookstore in an architecturally brilliant setting would definitely be it.

Other than the extreme difficulty of running a brick and mortar store with zero expertise in the field, that is. The idea is sound. In my mind.
“Selling books is not a way to get rich. You have to really love it,” says Josh Spencer, creator of the Last Bookstore. “You work hard, but it’s worth it because people love books. It also offers endless creativity, if you want."

A new location is opening soon in Studio City.
