I medically transitioned as a minor and have not regretted it for a moment. Most trans people could probably write you entire novels about the sheer horror that is gender dysphoria and the relief that comes with medical alleviation.

Also since when do the actions of some other people re their treatment for something mean no one gets treated? Lots of people reject doctors' advice and offered care. Most famously, Steve Jobs decided not to get chemo. We're all other cancer patients denied chemo because of him?

The sacred oath of all medical providers first do no harm. That includes when not doing anything causes harm. All gender affirming care is entirely appropriate if requested by the patient. And no one should get between a medical provider and the patient.
